Who we are and what you accept
Notepress is a service of Carlos Trujillo Puente, doing business as WeEvolveIT (an individual engaged in business activities (persona física con actividad empresarial)), Mexican tax ID (RFC) TUPC9311273P1, with address at Av. Plan de Ayala 1208, Int. 204, Col. Chapultepec, C.P. 62450, Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. In these terms, “we” and “us” refer to WeEvolveIT. They are an agreement between WeEvolveIT and the organization or person that creates an account (the “publication”), as well as each person who uses it on its behalf (the “users”).
By creating an account, signing in or using the service, you accept these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you accept them on behalf of a publication, you represent that you have the authority to bind it. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The “service” includes the usenotepress.com website, the newsroom dashboard, the AI features, the Content API through which your publication's website receives its content, and the automatic notifications (webhooks) we send to it.
Your account
- You must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Notepress is a professional service for publications, journalists and businesses.
- Your sign-up details must be true and kept up to date.
- You sign in with a one-time code we send to your email: there are no passwords. Protecting access to your email is your responsibility, and anything done with your account is considered done by you.
- Each publication has administrators, editors and writers. Only an administrator can change the plan, manage billing and close the publication's account.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know right away at hello@weevolveit.com.
- We may decline a sign-up or ask for more information when there are signs of fraud or abuse.
Plans, pricing and billing
These are the Notepress plans. Every price is monthly and per publication:
Manual
- Price
- Free
- Includes
- Manual editing and publishing, no AI, with up to 4 published articles per week. The allowance resets every Monday (Mexico City time).
Publisher
- Price
- $31 USD per month
- Includes
- Unlimited manual publishing, no AI.
Pro
- Price
- $117 USD per month
- Includes
- AI-assisted writing and 1,000 AI credits per month.
Authority
- Price
- $171 USD per month
- Includes
- Everything in Pro, competitive search intelligence and 2,500 AI credits per month.
The full details of each plan are on the plans page and in the dashboard, under Settings → Billing.
- Prices: they are stated in US dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
- Additional languages: each additional language you publish in costs $21 USD per month on top of your plan, prorated. Your main language is always included. This add-on does not include AI credits and is available from the Publisher plan up.
- Monthly subscription: paid plans and their add-ons are charged in advance every month through Stripe, using the payment method you register, and renew automatically until you cancel them.
- 7-day free trial: each publication's first paid subscription includes a 7-day trial. It is offered only once per publication: canceling and subscribing again does not give you another trial. During the trial you receive 25% of the plan's monthly credits; the full allowance arrives with the first paid invoice. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the first month is charged automatically.
- Plan changes: upgrading is immediate and the prorated difference for the current period is charged right away; the additional credits are granted once the payment is confirmed. Downgrading between paid plans is also immediate: the unused portion of what you already paid stays as a credit balance in Stripe for your next invoices, and credits already granted are kept.
- Cancellation: an administrator can cancel at any time under Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: until then you keep your plan, and you can resume it before that date. After that, the publication moves to the Manual plan: your content is kept and AI features are paused. Canceling does not delete your data.
- Refunds: unless applicable law provides otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we don't issue refunds for partial periods.
- Failed payments: if a charge cannot be made, we may suspend AI generation and publishing until the payment is settled.
- Price changes: if we change the price of your plan or of an add-on, we will notify you by email at least 30 calendar days in advance, and the new price will apply from the first renewal after that period.
AI credits
- The Pro and Authority plans include a monthly credit allowance that is granted with each paid invoice. AI features — writing, translating, generating images and running keyword studies, among others — use credits according to the rates shown in the dashboard.
- While your publication is on a plan with AI, unused credits do not expire. If it moves to a plan without AI, the balance expires 30 days later, unless it returns to Pro or Authority before then.
- Additional credit packs are bought with a one-time payment, require an active plan with AI and do not expire with the month.
- Some AI features that don't use credits have a monthly usage limit.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred between publications.
- If you think credits were deducted by mistake, write to us at hello@weevolveit.com and we'll look into it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Notepress to:
- publish or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory or fraudulent, or that incites violence or hatred;
- knowingly spread disinformation, impersonate people, publications or authorities, or present invented facts, quotes or images as real;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy, image rights or the personal data of third parties;
- process sensitive personal data or third parties' data without a legal basis;
- generate spam or misleading content to manipulate search engines;
- upload files containing malware, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data or systems, including those of other publications;
- circumvent the limits of your plan, the trial or credits, for example by opening repeated accounts;
- resell the service or offer it to third parties without authorization, or extract data automatically outside the Content API, or
- reverse engineer the service, except to the extent the law expressly allows it.
If you break these rules, we may limit features or suspend the account under the Suspension and termination section.
Your content and the license you give us
Your content is yours. The publication keeps all its rights over what it uploads or writes in Notepress and, to the extent the law allows, over the content the service generates for it. We don't claim ownership of any of it.
To provide the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide and limited license to host, copy, process and transform your content (for example, to translate it or re-encode an image), send it to our providers — including AI providers — and publish it on your publication's website through its Content API. We use this license only to operate, maintain and protect the service and to comply with the law. It ends when your content is deleted, except for backups, which are renewed over time.
We don't sell your content or use it to train AI models.
You represent that you hold the rights and permissions needed for what you upload — texts, photos, videos, documents and third parties' data — and that its use in Notepress does not infringe anyone's rights. You can export your content at any time under My account → Export.
What belongs to us
The software, the design, the Notepress brand, its logos, templates and documentation belong to WeEvolveIT or its licensors. These terms don't transfer any rights over them to you, other than the right to use the service as set out here. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
AI-generated content
AI assists. The journalist signs. Notepress helps you research, write, translate and optimize, but the decision to publish always belongs to your publication.
- AI-generated drafts, translations, headlines, summaries, SEO suggestions and images may contain errors: inaccurate or outdated data, invented quotes or sources, omissions or bias. They are a starting point, not a finished product.
- The publication and the journalist who signs are responsible for what they publish. It is up to them to verify facts, figures, quotes and sources; to edit the text; to decide whether it is published, and to comply with journalistic ethics and applicable law, including copyright, privacy and defamation law and any rules that require AI-generated content to be identified.
- If you set up workflows that publish without human review, that decision and its consequences belong to your publication.
- Don't present AI-generated images as photographs of real events.
- Search, competition and SEO score estimates are approximations. We don't guarantee search rankings, traffic, revenue or mentions in AI engines.
- AI may produce similar results for other users; there is no exclusivity over generic texts or ideas.
Your publication's website, hosting and the Content API
- Notepress delivers content to your publication's website through the Content API and automatic notifications (webhooks). Displaying it, getting it indexed and keeping it online depends on that website.
- Hosting and the SSL certificate for your publication's website are sold separately and are not part of any Notepress plan. If you hire them from WeEvolveIT, they are governed by the agreement you sign for that service.
- Your publication is responsible for its domain, its website, its own privacy notice for its readers and for keeping its Content API keys secret.
- If your publication's website stops responding, content may not reach it until the connection is restored.
Third-party services
The service relies on third parties, such as Stripe for payments and infrastructure and AI providers (see the Privacy Notice). Some have their own terms, such as Stripe's terms for payment. We are not liable for failures of third-party services beyond our control, without prejudice to what the law provides.
Availability and changes to the service
- We work to keep Notepress available and working well, but we don't guarantee that it will run without interruptions or errors. There may be maintenance, provider failures or force majeure events.
- We may add, change or remove features. If we remove an essential feature from a paid plan, we will let you know in advance.
- Features marked “coming soon” are not a commitment to deliver them or to a date.
- We recommend exporting your content regularly.
Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties other than those expressly set out in these terms.
- WeEvolveIT is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of revenue, data or reputation, nor for the content your publication publishes or third-party claims about that content.
- WeEvolveIT's total liability to your publication for any claim related to the service will not exceed what your publication paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it or, if you only use the free plan, one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law, such as liability arising from willful misconduct (dolo) or bad faith.
Indemnity
Your publication agrees to hold WeEvolveIT harmless and indemnify it against third-party claims, penalties and reasonable expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from the content it publishes, from a breach of these terms or from the violation of third parties' rights.
Suspension and termination
If you want to leave
An administrator can close the publication's account at any time under My account → Danger zone. Closing starts a 30-day grace period during which the account can be reactivated, and the subscription is canceled at the end of the period already paid. When the 30 days are over, the publication and all its content are permanently deleted. Download your content first: we won't be able to recover it afterwards.
If we have to suspend or terminate the service
We may suspend or terminate access, in whole or in part, if:
- you breach these terms or the acceptable use rules;
- there are overdue payments;
- the law or a competent authority requires it, or
- there is a risk to the security of the service, of other publications or of third parties, or signs of fraud or abuse of the trial or credits.
Where reasonable, we will notify you beforehand and give you a chance to fix the situation, except in urgent cases or where the law prevents it. When the relationship ends, the license over your content ends as described in the Your content section, and the sections that by their nature should survive — such as limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law — remain in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version will always be on this page, with its last-updated date. If a change is substantial, we will notify your publication's administrators by email at least 15 calendar days in advance. If you keep using the service after it takes effect, you accept it; if you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription or close your account.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. For their interpretation and enforcement, the parties submit to the competent courts of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, and waive any other jurisdiction that may apply to them by reason of their present or future domicile, except where applicable law grants the user a non-waivable right to go to another authority.
Before starting any proceedings, write to us at legal@weevolveit.com and we will try to resolve it in good faith.
General provisions
- These terms, together with the Privacy Notice and the conditions of your plan shown in the dashboard, form the entire agreement between your publication and WeEvolveIT about the service.
- If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in effect.
- Not exercising a right at a given moment does not mean we waive it.
- Your publication may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign them to whoever succeeds us in operating the service, with notice to you.
- We will send notices to your account email. Legal notices for WeEvolveIT go to legal@weevolveit.com.
- Neither party is liable for failures caused by acts of God or force majeure.
Language
These terms are published in Spanish and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
